The automaker wants to sell its stronger operations to a “New Chrysler” owned by Italy’s Fiat , labor unions and the U.S. and Canadian governments, in exchange for $2 billion paid to lenders.

Toyota, Honda and Volkswagen are all kicking our butts at making cars that people want.

Don’t even make beer. BUD is now Anheuser-Busch InBev.  The Coors Brewing Company is a regional division of the world’s fifth-largest brewing company, the Molson Coors Brewing Company. I think Sam Adams is the last ‘mass market’ American beer you can buy.

“Making Work Pay Credit: The bill provides a $400 credit per worker and a $800 credit per dual-earner couple. The full credit would be paid to people making $75,000 or less ($150,000 per dual-earner couple). For most working individuals, the credit will be paid over time at roughly $15 per period, assuming 26 pay periods in a year. Estimated cost: $116 billion.”

Ouch ! Instead of giving us all a check smaller than last years, you are expecting us to spur the economy with an extra $15 every two weeks!
I line item veto this one right off the bill…
